FAQ:

What changes are being made?

We are completing Phase 2 of 3 of our server upgrade project.  As you may recall, earlier in the year we were able to upgrade and improve the performance and protection of your websites and hosted applications.  We are now continuing on that trend, but this time we are going to be upgrading the server hardware.

Why don’t you expect any downtime?

We do not anticipate any downtime because our new server has been up and running for 2 weeks already.  The process begins like this; we will be migrating your current websites to the new server hardware, as we perform this migration your users will be able to continue accessing the old server.  When migration is completed the old server will be redirected to the new server and users will passively connect to your website, on the new server.  In addition all the DNS information has been updated last week to reflect these changes.  As always we will be monitoring our systems.

Why is Google Apps and Google Mail not affected?

Google Apps and Google Mail are hosted by Google Inc.  Although, we oversee the configuration changes for them we are not upgrading or making any changes to that system.  All email and applications from that system are not affected.

Were any backups taken?

Yes, Full Backups of your entire Hosting Accounts/Websites, Databases and Files were taken on 10/23/2013.
